How to make an AI short film from your own script

Paste the script into a tool that treats your words as the episode, let it split the text into scenes and frame the shots, check the scene list and cost, then render — keeping the same cast and style for every scene.

Step by step

  1. Create a series with your premise, style and cast, so the characters have fixed appearances and portraits.
  2. Open the episode you want to make and choose to write it yourself.
  3. Paste your screenplay, or simply describe what happens, scene by scene.
  4. Let the agent break it into scenes and frame the shots, then read the result before paying.
  5. Confirm the credit cost and render. Retry any scene that fails; you are only charged for what renders.

Your words, not the AI’s

Most text-to-video tools treat a script as a loose prompt and improvise around it. In AISP, when you write an episode yourself, the screen says it plainly: your words are the episode. The agent breaks the text into scenes and frames the shots, and it is instructed not to add events you did not write.

You can write it as a screenplay (INT. KITCHEN — NIGHT, character names, dialogue) or just as prose describing what happens. The script box takes up to 12,000 characters, which is roughly a short-film-length screenplay for one episode.

Set the cast up first

A script alone does not say what people look like. That is why AISP asks you to create the series first: the agent writes each character’s appearance as a concrete description (age, build, hair, clothing, distinguishing features) and paints a reference portrait. Those descriptions and portraits are reused for every scene of your script.

If your script introduces someone new, they are added to the cast with a portrait of their own, so they look the same if they come back.

What it costs and what you get

Turning your script into scenes uses the writer you picked for the series: Standard is free, Sharp and Best charge a small fee per script (10 and 15 credits at the time of writing). Rendering is priced per second of finished episode and depends on the look: Storyboard and Motion are the cheapest, video tiers cost more and generate their own dialogue and sound.

Finished episodes play in AISP and can be shared by link. AISP does not currently offer a download of the finished video file, so plan on watching and sharing it there; the subtitle track can be downloaded as a .vtt file from the player.

Questions

Can I paste a full feature-length screenplay?

Not in one go. Each episode takes up to 12,000 characters of script, so a longer story works best split into episodes of one series.

Will the AI change my dialogue?

It is told to keep your words and not add events. It decides how to cut your text into scenes and shots, so read the scene list before you confirm the render.
